CAVA 5: compact and lightweight line.
The CAVA 5 profile line from Prototipazione Meccanica is particularly suitable for applications that are compact yet precise. This series can also be used to build lightweight frames; although the grooves are smaller, they can still support light loads. Thanks to their low weight and reduced dimensions, CAVA 5 profiles are used, for example, as slide profiles for the linear systems of 3-D printers.

CAVA 8: the builders’ favourite standard line.
The CAVA 8 profile line (modular sizes 40 mm and 45 mm) is suitable for structures of every kind. With the 45-series and 40-series—CAVA 8 heavy and light—you can design a wide variety of solutions and ensure greater aesthetic harmony by using sections with open groove, closed groove, radiused groove, angular groove or peel-off groove.

CAVA 10: high-capacity line for major solutions.
The CAVA 10 profile line (modular sizes 40 mm and 45 mm) is ideal for applications that must carry heavier loads in limited space. These profiles, in addition to being suitable for standard solutions, offer maximum security against loss of torsion and straightness. The greater load capacity is reflected in the connection technique as well: all connection sets are made entirely of steel to guarantee constant pretension. In projects where the applications are subject to lower stresses, it is possible to use the CAVA 10 light-series profiles—just like the CAVA 8 series—without sacrificing performance.
