Civil and industrial workstations
The manual workstation is one of the most important production resources in assembly technology because it has a major impact on cost efficiency and product quality. Choosing the right workstation is a special challenge: it strongly affects operator health, performance, concentration and, not least, motivation.
The Prototipazione Meccanica workstation system allows every task required in manual production to be carried out optimally. Because of its decisive influence on cost and quality, the manual working environment is regarded as the most flexible production resource in assembly technology.
To optimise typical shop-floor tasks in manual production—assembly, packing, screwing and all other operations—we supply our work-benches.
Automatic height adjustment of the workstations with our electrically adjustable columns, matched to the worker’s body dimensions, can be implemented easily whenever required.
On request, the benches can be equipped with many complementary accessories:

- air fittings

Machine-side guards and structures are built externally with linear or irregular outlines using extruded aluminium profiles in modular sections series 20, 30, 40 or 45, with or without slot; inside, they can be fitted with every feature desirable for serial modular construction.
A wide range of accessories makes it possible to build:
- hinged doors
- shaped doors
- sliding doors and vertically counter-balanced doors with gas springs or counterweights
- pull-out frames with captive latching
- removable panels screwed to blocks
- fixed panels set into the slots.
Perimeter guards and partitions
Protecting machinery means first and foremost protecting personnel from potential hazards. Alea components allow the construction of protective fencing that can be integrated with any automated line. The broad assortment of sheet elements provides the right balance of safety and functionality.
Transparent, impact-resistant polycarbonate panels offer an excellent view of the machine’s process, while opaque panels provide screening wherever the operation requires it. The protective devices can be connected directly to the machine body or installed independently.
Fences, frames and doors rely on the slot principle and can be connected or extended at any time with accessories and components from the Prototipazione Meccanica System—naturally all perfectly compatible with each other.
The safety-panel support kit is a practical frame-mounting solution, compliant with Machinery Directive 2006/42/EC, and maintains a clearance between panels of 12 to 26 mm.
